Got a price cut even before the device was launched?
Shows how immature public response is. From my perspective this is a useless device.
Neither its a tablet, nor a phone and nor it has subscription based model which allows free games per month like Gamepop.

Android gaming is infancy atm with lower sized games not optimized for high res display and high end games are either too costly or tooo big for an android game.

I just don't see a point of this device. The Geforce Streaming solution requires high end router else there will be streaming glitch and delays.

Not sure how well it'll sell for.

A good read here: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2042583/is-nvidias-shield-worth-300-we-debate-the-math.html

It's a tough device to sell at this point

Well this is new, never seen a product price cut before it was even launched.
Really hard to see any serious takers for this.

Gaming console is a word used pretty easily nowadays it seems.
