Graphic Cards Nvidia to launch 7800 GTX 512 on 7th of November

Hmm I wouldnt rule X1800XT out yet, the memory controller's optimisations are just 20% done as yet. Do expect much more performance increment from X1800Xt. But I do believe the 512mb 7800 GTX is gonna give some stiff competition. And ATI will come out with a X1800Xt PE ;) as the R520 yet has some headroom...

so fast with 1.7ghz memory :S this will be much faster then a 256 gtx.
if a gtx 256mb has 1.7ghz memory then will it perform same as 512mb?:huh:
 
If the cards are gonna be clocked only at 470 MHz, then ATI doesn't need to worry much. Most games are shader limited anyway! The extra bandwidth will only benefit at 2048x1536 and such insane resolutions.

i want that kooler ..... anyways nice performance tho ..... i think it will score more than 9100 as people have managed 9k with 256MB with 520/1350 clocks ......

just wait for the new driver :)

i am just trying to find some scores but that thread is insane 600+ posts and 76000 views in two day ..... i think GTX 512 is interesting to everyone .....
 
Pfft............... only 12549 3dmarks in 3dm05 ! I was expecting more out of these monsters especially in SLI and with 1500$ spent :|. The heatsink rocks btw .................
