The sticker mentions SK hynix sc311, which should be sata ssd not nvme (if I remember correctly). Can you post the bare drive image beneath the sticker?
You are not wrong, I will ask for more info... when you search for SK Hynix SC311 it does show up as M.2/SATA SSD but those have 2 notches this only has one.
I will have to connect one and check.. it might just be whitelabelled/rebranded in which case I will take them off sale.

Says Serial ATA (SATA) on the drive itself (beside the screw mount).
I think these are nvme. nvme has single notch in connector, and sata ones has double notch.
those have 2 notches this only has one.
M.2 keying is kinda complex, those notches are called "keys" and depending on the position of the notch (and pins) can identify and perform different tasks. Normal nvme drives are "M" keyed (not to be confused with the M of M.2), and that signifies am x4 pcie device. But, it can also signify a SATA device (probably the case here, not common, manufactured with the same PCB as nvme for cost reduction). Notches on B+M (2 notches, typical of SATA) signify either a SATA or pcie x2 device. Refer to this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.2#Form_factors_and_keying

Taking these off sale, and returning to vendor, they are PowerX branded NVME's I don't trust these sorts of brands like EVM, Master, Consistent etc.
Yes, PowerX is really unreliable. Came with my refurbished mini PC bought from Amazon, had to reinstall Proxmox two times in a year, it keeps corrupting.

Atlast I throw them out a week ago.

some of these are sold some are available. I will post an update, prices are the same, although they are costlier but i had already bought these long time ago when the prices were lower.
All Gen 3.0's are Rs. 2500/- ea.
All Gen 4.0's are Rs. 3500/- ea.

I'll check the details on the power draw and DRAM cache (if it exists) on the 3.0 drives and order one.

Will do so by this weekend.
