First the system specs.

Asus P5KC

E5200 Dual core processor

Galacial stars 500A - PSU -

3 GB DDR2 Ram

Ati HD4670 - 1GB

What i did - FSb From 200 to 333

CPU ratio - 9

System started up well and good i started playing Crysis 2 and after just a few min checked the temp -

I think the temp are high and will this be stable with the current PSU

#[member='sumonpathak'] . I dont want to crap the Super Pi thread so asking here . I disabled the speedstep in bios . Isn't that the EIST ??
 
u aint crapping...apparently speedstep didnt fix it..leme check with te manual and i will post it here

mate the temps are way too high for your proccy. And you have hardly OCed the proccy.

My suggestion, better clean up the cabby throughly before OC further. And also Re-tim the proccy.

Regarding your current OC, you can tighten the RAM timings to get better score

Whatever you do try to obtain a stable OC below 60C for your Procc. so that it does not decrease the life of your already aging PC.
