ocing help for amd 1055t .

friends need to oc my 1055t at 4ghz , with my new noctua NH-U12p.
tried to oc it on 4ghz but am getting the blue screen .

what would do.

plus IAm getting 45 c as a stock temp and when am trying the stability test, blue screen comes up.

Re seat the heat sink again check the contact between the cooler and cpu,you cant get BSOD's on stock settings may be you haven't seated the heat sink properly so just confirm this and to oc with a 1055t you have to up the FSB or base clock thats at a default of 200,and while up the base clock you have to keep a check on the temps and even voltage.

running it on 4004 mhz but temps a high like 45 c on idle .

ya will check the heatstick connection.

think may have applied a little less T.

Afaik, 1055T needs little more voltage for 4Ghz and above ....

Ieven have seen 4ghz on 1055t at 1.4 v :/

right now am on 1.45 v

Always check your temp before you increase your voltage so you know your limits,but with that cooler at 4ghz your temps on load should be about high 50s,like 59 etc,dont know about idle temp,but you should have optimum airflow in your case,consider your case is not that good,try testing in open air at stock settings.
