LOL seeing the way the prices drop, especially in the memory market, I am pretty optimistic about this. I bet.

Haha, you sound like the guy who told me a CD Writer would never ever cost less than 10k per drive (It launched at 32k for a 2x writer btw ;))

I'm waiting for Intel's new mainstream SSD technology to hit the market and they are estimating 100GB drives for around $50, so things will only get better from there on :)
 
Yeah man 100 gb for 50 bucks is expected.

But 300 gig for 50 bucks is something that will take a long time to achieve :P

Just like the cd writer you mentioned :D

I think it was closer to 45k with the scsi card and cable :P (YAMAHA burners) :hap2: lighting fast 2x speed!!
