IT Depot are keen on clearing out their DFI and OCZ Stock, and have put together quite a decent bundle offer. It will comprise of :

DFI nForce4 SLI Expert board
OCZ Gold Gamer Xtreme 512MB DDR RAM
PSU EarthPower EA 500
SLK 2650 bqe cabinet (without the PSU)
They will hopefully be putting it up on their website tomorrow.
Not sure if there will be changes in the pricing, but as of now i was given an estimate at Rs 10,000 for the bundle plus shipping.

^ Please read carefully, its a BUNDLE ! That means everything is sold together.

A possible solution is to find people interested in the other components - so you can buy the bundle , keep the board and split up the other parts.

How will that motherbaord pictured in "the hot of the week" fit in the case shown in the picture ? :P

Got excited when u earlier mentioned 10k.:ohyeah:

say-
OCZ Gold Gamer Xtreme 512MB DDR RAM- 2.5k
SLK 2650 bqe cabinet (without the PSU)- 1.5k
PSU EarthPower EA 500- 2.5k
DFI nForce4 SLI Expert board-4.5k
with resp warranties obviously.

so 11k now but 1350 for shipping.:(

w/o shipping costs- Not that bad at all- now only if we had new 939 X2 3800s available for 5k!!:ohyeah:

^ Yeah 10k was an approx quote, and shipping was to be an added cost. I guess people in Chennai could skip the shipping by just going over and picking it up! :D

I had mentioned to them that finding good/cheap Socket 939 procs for these would be an issue, hence this bundle is targetted more towards the Socket 939 segment who would want a mobo upgrade.

Your price split-up seems fairly accurate. The PSU/Cabinet prices look very excellent - the EA 500 is listed on their website at 5.6k normally . RAM pricing seems fair. The mobo price is also good for someone who's upgrading - else if you dont have a 939 proc it might offset the price advantage.

Got a combo quote from Prime yesterday for this AM2 mobo ...

Jetway M2A692-GDG (AMD 690G) Mainboard Review Intro 1/5 | OCWorkbench

WITH a x2 3600 CPU for 6925/- ..... and the same board with a x2 3800 for 7600/- ..... if this mobo costs around 2600/- then an AM2 x2 3800 would be for 5k :ohyeah:

Can you believe it a few days back Prime sold me a Opti 175 939 for 8.5k :( .... I wish I had waited ONE WEEK !!! ..... :(

just called itdepot people they are asking 8.5k for only motherboard :(
Yeah- they are jackasses.:@

Heres my revised break up- Bikey Ed 2.-

EA 500 psu- dual rails- 17A each i think, 2 pcie connectors, 80+ efficient, active PFC
3.5k aint bad at all.

OCZ 512 Gold XTC- does 2-2-2-5 at DDR 400 - 2k
Thats uber RAM at local transcend rate.

SLK 2650 cabby- thats like the SLK 1650 witha bay door which retails for 3k with 350W psu.
minus 1.5k for psu.
1.5k for 2650 aint bad at all compared to flimsy iballs.
120mm rear, 80 front and add a 80 to side vent with a lil ingenuity.;)
Miss a full+ventilated hdd bay though.

DFI Expert- do i need to say anything- 4k.:O
even the SLI-D on an online shopping site is $140.
Or compare it to the buget DFIs in their clearance sale- at those prices i doubt if they will ever clear.

That makes up the 11k. ... SWEET.:thumb:
with shipping its 12350/-.:(

On thinking hard over the 1350 for shipping- to console myself-
i added 750 to mobo, 500 to RAM, 100 to cabby and i still don't feel sad somehow.:P

Now i want an opty165 939 or better at AM2 3600/3800 rates.:@

p.s. Bundle is irresistible if ppl gang up and share the goodies- like someone wants mobo and someone wants good psu, ...:P
I was a dumbass to get all i wanted last year and end up not using it- now this is amost all i have for so much cheaper and that too brand new- this bundle is for 939 zombies like me.

^ Bikey, yep I confirmed with them and each product will carry its respective warranties :)

They also noticed the issue of high shipping costs and are trying out SpeedPost to see if that would bring down the shipping costs (presently they are using BlueDart). The Cabby being heavy is whats taking the shipping costs up!

Yep, its better to just buy the bundle and find people interested in the rest of the components :)

Well it seems the bundle is off now. Delta has acquired all the Expert boards, so you can probably buy it from them.

As of now, only the OCZ RAM @ 2.5k per 512MB stick is available.

how good is the board... im using the a8n-e wit an opt 165 and 7900 gs..

im thinkin of takin a sli board for future upgrades... cause 939 is being phased out... it the dfi board good..will be takin from delta only... and he`s not too sure of the model yet and price not known..
