PC Peripherals OEM warranty on RAM modules ?

I have a couple of OEM DDR400 RAM modules from Hynix and Samsung. Any idea if it will be covered by warranty by the manufacturer and whom can I contact for warranty information ? Any help would be appreciated...

Take it wherever you bought it from. Generally they have a year of warranty.

I got them from a friend who has a HCL system, coz he has bought a 1 GB stick. So now I am wondering if these modules are covered under the lifetime warranty.

Lifetime warranty means the lifetime of the ram not human lifetime which is around 3 years.

HCL only gives a 1 year warranty. What are the chips on that stick?

I guess the chips on the Hynix modules are from Hynix and Samsung chips on the Samsung modules.
