Laptops Office Requires a Laptop

My office would like to purchase a simple notebook, with the two major factors being Battery Life and running 2 -3 Basic Apps.

This is for outdoor use and it should be a small screen and portable. Can you suggest something it should also be economical, non gaming!

Within that budget, the only possible 14.1" choices are some of the Celeron M based models from Compaq (V 2000 series) and Acer...

A little up will get you a P-M based Dell B130 but thatisn't as light as the Compaq V2000
