google for HDTUNE , its freeware, do a quality check on all ur hard drives and a performance check too , u can save the results, save em n post em back , id suggest u do this FIRST on the drive with xp loaded and then on the other drives

as a last resort format and wipe out xp n do a clean install, since u have soo much free space, backup ur data too,if noting works to boot , use minipe

what he will do by trying hd tune now cletus. hehe

@ smith - 1st i suggest try on another psu n check. or change the molex connector that goes in ur hdd try a diff 1 n see. doesnt seem to be a heat prob as both my 320s are around 38-39deg.
if the psu thing fails try formatting. could be that the convertor ur using to use the sata power is spoilt.
