OMFG - 900+ Pings with Tata

Everything seemed to be fine this afternoon, but since the last half an hour my pings have been royally screwed. I've never even imagined seeing such pings in my dreams :

I guess all those folks on Airtel whom I used to make fun of would be having a blast right now :@
 
Ehh..

Theyre testing new bandwitdh too.

Big deal, I bet you those pings wont be screwed for more than 1 - 2 hours.

I have a friend who works at a Tata Callcenter :P.... He tells me stuff related to Tata. Dunno how reliable it is though.

I think its an issue with your Connection though. I use 5Net, who get thier bandwitdh from Tata, and My pings are fine.
 
There were connection issues for me too till something like 1 am last night. Since then its back to normal. Router was getting disconnected every 2 minutes earlier.
 
i just dont get this some servers from singapore are showing 100-120 pings on my tata connection. and vstreet and FS showing between 600-900 :S
 
^^ Thats surely because of Exatt being fugged up!

Exatt is one of the most unreliable ISP's in the whole world. And V-Street have their Servers in an Exatt IDC :P.. Which btw, is Smaller than my Bedroom, and the AC's dont work :P.

Edit : Btw.. Pings fine..

Yeah, they are fine now. Aditya, since both of us are technically using the same BW (TATA), how is it that your pings are fairly lesser than mine (Your getting 7-10ms whereas I get around 30-50)

Is this because your in Bbay and I'm in Pune ?
 
Thats screwed up routing,happens every now and then.

Few days back,tata had a major outage here.So i guess they are upto something.
At least how i hope,if ill be able to get high speed (2M+) low ping inside india!
btw,why there are no good game servers using vsnl/tata?
