OMG!! Look .. BSNL 3G speed in Pune which I am getting.

Dear friends,

How can I solve this problem? How can I improve its speed?

I have been getting this speed since I purchased this 3G SIM. (I purchased it last 5th of this month) I get this speed evey where I have visited in Pune.

I am using it through my NOKIA X6 16GB. I am staying in F.C.Road

Could anyone kindly suggest me PLEASE? ... :'(

Getting low speeds using using BSNL 3G is a know issue through out india

First try with some other device as modem

Give a complaint through phone

If there is no improveement go to BSNL Office and give a writtern complaint

Make sure you are on umts mode.
Also speedtest is not a true parameter to check speeds of capped network.
To check speeds download some reasonably sized file using IDM and set the no of connections to the max.

He has a BSNL 3G card and but had not recharged with any 3G tariff plan. Also some how both his handsets Nokia X6 and 5700 support 3G speeds upto 384kbps only.
Though the Nokia site says that X6 supports d/link speed of 3.6Mbps I found that his handset does not support that much speed. I tried using his sim in my E122 and it worked fine.
He will be getting a USB modem in a week.. Hopefully then his problem will be fully resolved
