Online MBA Programme?

Hi All.

A Btech CS Grad with around 8 years of exp as an engineer, Team lead, IC etc.

So its been some years since I studied something. And I want to do an MBA. MBA on Information Systems or MIS. It has to be completely online. Exams included. I dont care about the college-label, as long as the course is good enough. I just want the knowledge and a MBA-label. Thats it. I am not planning to just forge ahead using the MBA. It will always be a BTech guy for me...with an MBA. I like that profile. Some people are harping me to "manage" people for sometime, I am not a fan of it. But sooner or later its going to happen. So i think its better late than never.

The closest i find is from a Don Bosco Global one. But that is MBA in Technology Management.

The other one is Sikkim Manipal Distance. MBA on Information Systems. Classes are online, however the exams are not. Since I am in mainly based in US now, I dont know when all I can come for the exams.

Any help? Does Birla Institute have anything similar? Our company has a program with those guys.

I did look some courses in US. Oooh they are expensive!!!!. But anything around 1000 or 1500USD i am ok with. But I dont think I will find any.

Right now I am zeroing in on the Don Bosco one. They send me the course curriculum also. They are good enough for me.

And main point is they will let me take exams online. Which the Manipal ones wont. So. The US ones I like a bit more, especially University of Maryland. But 60K USD!!!!!.

Whaaaaat! sixty thousand dollars for an online course?!?! i was about to suggest you try one that's also in the us since it will be more convenient and if you plan on continuing working there, more helpful as it may be a well-known college/program. but 60k usd is just :eek:

I too had looked for online MBA/MIS courses in USA, but cost wise was upwards of 40k + $ and you had to be living in USA until completion of the course, so dropped the plans.

Which course did you get enrolled into? Link please?
