Well dont know whether its shared or not.

I am on airtel lifetime prepaid card with call charges of 1.2 paise per sec hence costs 0.72 per minute.

I am not a talkative guy but somehow tomorrow night i have to make a long call and going with same charges doesnt look feasible.

So i tried searching airtel site and got an offer to pay 26 and get call at 30 paise per minute. Now the problem was it was 11.30 in night and i cant wait till today.

So i searched the net found this site. They were charging 2 buks commision for the same plan (no big deal).

But problem was how to know site is authentic.

So i risked it.

And it worked.So sharing.

I have used above site once in past & it worked.

on side note, why stick with Airtel ? My current plan with VF, 1sec/0.5 paisa [1min / 30 paisa], 100 National SMS free, no monthly / daily rental.

You on postpaid or prepaid ?Also i am based in mumbai need to check whether the same offer is here or not.Because voda and airtel are competitors (what one offers other try to match it).

that was my scheme before vodafone changed it to 90 p for landline and 60p mobile fixed... which city are you from? when i called them they say, the 1p/sec has been permanently stopped

^No it is not. It's still there & applied to anyone who ports to VF. Just threaten them you will port out, they will give the offer. On my other no. I have same plan with 29 rs monthly rental. I am with VF more than 5 years & I told them I will port out & they gave me this offer.

I have been using freecharge for a long time now. I think almost all TEians also know about the same!

ok i have a doubt...when i dial 121 from my phone, it says special offer you- rs 100 recharge , 87 talktime instantly and balance 13 in 2hrs...i usually check this and get get it topped up from my local recharge guy here and it gets credited accurately as per it says in less than 2hrs . this denomination applies to my no only and for every no its different. like for my other vodafone no its 150...and every month the denomination differs.sometimes its different...my doubt is, if i recharge for 100 from paytm.com for 100 , is it a top up recharge or the normal one with 82 talktime? because on the vodafone site, there is no mention of the special recharge offer for every no...ther's only mention of the normal 100 denomination which has 82 or 87 i dont remember exactly !

Most probably it wont happen..But i guess you can try risking it.At worst you will get less talktime.

I feel one can take a calculative risk with 100 Rs.If amount would had been bigger i would had said avoid.

Avi you in karnataka hence you getting those offers. In metros they are leechers. And in mumbai they offer more to bhaiyas as they know they are their dedicated customers than us.

I used to have this scheme for my plan which offered 1000 loop to loop mins free on a 87 recharge plus 78 talktime. This was not available for other plans. They were offered only the 78 talktime.

But whenever I recharged from freecharge, I always got both 78 TT and the 1000 minutes. SO, it should work similarly for you as well.

ok thanks , will give it a shot

by the way, isn't there a handling charge for recharges on freecharge.in?

#[member='MAGNeT'] #[member='vivek.krishnan'] #[member='Neo-N'] #[member='avi'] are all these sites safe? any chance they could misuse customer details ? asking cause a wierd thing happened. i was just trying to do a recharge on paytm.com via a debit card and on the bank page, it asked for account no and pin no...this has never happened... whenever i make a payment, all i have to do is enter card details and 3d secure pass.

The gateway is different so it looks safe.If it was within site i would had avoid. And the recharge work within no time.

I am with Uninir Rs 198 plan in which they give 42000 sec free for u2o and u2u 120000 sec ...this is nice plan compared to my earlier bsnl plan also i noted that thery only charge for the number of seconds not like bsnl but i could be wrong.

I can vouch for freecharge. I must have recharged for 10k atleast (for self, friends and family) from this site over the past one year or so and never have I had any issue.

I have been using paytm for recharging for myself and all the family members for long. had no probs till date. once I recharged a non recognised denomination for a BSNL cell number which got rejected and the amount was immediately returned as paytm cash which after a while we can transfer back to our bank account, but I just recharged again using that.
