While I don’t agree with all the choices, it is a very useful tool / website when looking for new free, safe, open-source and well-working software. The site has a comprehensive list of categories to cover most of the software requirement for windows.
You can also add, CDBurnerXP, Imgburn etc. instead of Nero

These are free softwares but as far as I know, their source code is not available. So these don't qualify as open source software.
