Opera mini on the Galaxy 5 on Vodafone live

Hi,
I just bought a Galaxy 5 and am having trouble using Opera mini.

Opera mini only seems to work in when I have a wifi connecion. It fails to load pages with a Vodafone Line connection. I was told to set the "proxy type" to HTTP, but I have not found this setting.

The phone's default browser works fine though.

Is there any way to get opera to work with Vodafone live?

it has been discussed to death that Vodafone Live does Not work with Android. (or Any WAP only Service for that matter)

You will require Vodafone Mobile Connect

All right. Change of question, which is the cheapest carrier with the relevant service that will work?

or if you are lucky Reliance

there is loop ands aircel but their speeds are not worth discussing hence not recommended.

Looks like its time for a Docomo connection for me.

BTW: What the mean battery life on the phone? It drained pretty fast while I was playing around with the features. I want to look into if its a problem with the battery or just the fact that I had Wifi etc on continuously.

wifi in only enabled wont make much difference.. makes a difference only if it is being used actively.

and it does count as talktime.

keep it fully charged and see hong long it lasts, dont go by just what the battery indicator shows you.

as for data connection, docomo will be the cheapest.
