Operating system for IBM PC jx....

I am trying to get my first PC running........Its an ancient IBM PC jx which my dad picked up for me in '87. I remember that it used PC Dos. I no longer have the boot disks.

Call me sentimental .... I have spent hours in front of its EGA monitor playing games such as Striker, Stellar 7 and Round 42.

Any place where I could retrieve the same...

Bootdisk.com only has the much newer versions ...mine would be something like 1.1 or even lower

The only thing I got left on floppy is Leisure Suit Larry and that too on a 5 1/4 :P

And one more big problem ...It will not read the new HD floppies..It has a 3.5 inch drive but only the LD disks...
 
I have an OLD PC Quest CD with OS2 Warp and PC Dos. Probably that is the first CD given out by PCQuest Mag. I'll try to dig it out. Please give me a day.
 
Will never run on this thing. I was bought this PC in 1987. Its almost 20 years old ....older than Warp and hell of a lot older that win 3.0....
 
I may have some old floppies (5 1/4) containing Pc-Dos, and Msdos 1 .....till dos 6.22 etc.....will search for it and inform you.
