Laptops Opinions on Presario V6102AU

:) Hi Folks,

Was planning to get a lappy from a long time, Infact spent last 2 weekends running from malls to malls checking out diff configs and brands available here in B'lore. While going through the Employee purchase Prog on my company's website when i came across this config :

Compaq Presario V6102AU Notebook with Carry Case-Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Home; AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-50 (1.6GHz); 15.4" colour WXGA High-Definition BrightView Widescreen Display; 1 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 (667 MHz); 100GB Serial ATA(5400 rpm); Super Multi Drive Dual Layer DVD±RW/±R; Nvidia GeForce Go 6150; 5 in 1 Media Card Reader; Integrated Bluetooth; Integrated Wireless.

All this comes at 45k under employee purchase scheme, i have checked similiar configs availabe in market but i see tht i can save abt 3-4 k on this and also considering tht it comes with Gforce 6150 gfx which may not deliver high end gaming but will be better than choosing a GMA900 or 950 based intel config.

They are also giving a free Reliance USB data card along with the above mentioned config.

Whadayya guys say shall i go for it :)
 
Thats a cool config -esp. witht the memory and storage. Battery life wont be that great (expect around 2 hours), but you cannot complain when you get this for 45k.
 
Well, you can get 3 hours if you max out and be easy on settings, but a little over 2 hours on moderate work load is how I would take that laptop.
