opinions on sony psp

guys i am planning to buy a modded sony psp so what r u r opinions on this product...........give valuable sugeestions??????????????
 
DS beats the crap out of the psp if you are interested in games/gameplay over eyecandy/music/movie player that was too heavy and bulky

i dont think so............check out games like POP,F1,RAW vs Smack Down,Burnout Domination,GTA,God Of War-Chain Of Olympus .....etc..the games are so damn good .........they combine the best of both worlds ....great eye candy and amazing gameplay....
games like GRAW2, Medal Of honour ....and stuff...which are honestly a bit difficult to master ass they are fps .......

the list of titles (good 1s) surpass the the list of (all)titles available for the DS......The DS stands no chance.ot even with two screens

* no offences but my psp is very close to my heart

I have to disagree. I think the DS has a better game library at the moment. Most of the PSP games are stuff you can find on the PS2.
The PSP is getting a lot of good games nowadays though. [Crush, Echochrome, Potapon etc].

Disclaimer: I own both.
 
spoken like a troo psp fanboi :D

about all the games ive played on the psp are 1)3rd person shooters/runners/fighters 2)racing games 3)tekken style stuff

my crib is the lack of variety

yet have to try an fps on the psp but i cringe to think of aiming using the psp controls

fps control on a ds is as good as using a mouse (play metroid hunters and see)
 
Yea...The screen's the best part of the psp. Its one of the best used in a portable gadget and is made by sharp so it's probably a mini aquos in your hands.....:P
 
As someone who owns both, I'd say they both are great, but here in India, the PSP is more desirable simply because it's more available.

This explains all and DS is just a piece of shit. I have used both DS and PSP and PSP kicks ass.
 
u shd not rather be using such strong words in ur opinion.. wot u consider worthless mite be a prized possession for someone else..

consider toning down ur language a bit with sch replies in future..
 
It may sound like a petty reason but the screen really is the best part about the PSP. Heck, even if it was graphically on par with the DS, the screen would still be kick ass. Also, most of the so called ports on the PSP are actually remakes(at least the ones I've played so far),so it's a bit unfair calling it a handheld PS2.

The DS is awesome in it's own way. Play games that make good use of the touch screen and you immediately realize why it's so damn awesome.

Not to hurt anyones sentiments if he has a Prized possession. That was just my part of opinion

You can give your opinion without sounding like a complete arse | raging fanboy as well. Yes, that's right! Amazing, Isn't it?
 
got my friend's psp for a few days (not modded yet). He had just 1 UMD (Amazing Golf or something) .. very Basic game but you wont believe how long i sat and played that game..the very thought of playing games while sitting with your books open and not many realizing it is priceless !! :P besides the sound quality with headfones was amazing !

Am planning to buy one this diwali. probably the prices will fall further by then..
