NICE! First 1640 in India, IIRC.. thanks for the scan,appo. 3950 is CHEAP! Anyway, box pack? Get BSHB FW also, better burns on +R media. It allows 12X overspeeding to the 4X disc?

yupp box pack..already flashed to bshb...n thnks to msce, overspeeding is a breeze.....though having some trouble using it since i flashed to bshb :huh: ...also picked up a lg 4163 2day...luv the scans n burn times ppl r getting with it

Very high jitter levels though, and overspeeding can be a pain. Still.. quite a nice drive!

Hey All

I was thinkin of going for a DVD writer. Lite on seems to be havin gud reputation.... Wat do u think ?
How Abt the model SOHW - 1653 S or SOHW - 1633 S ?

PLz suggest a gud one... My samsung DVD rom didnt even last 2 years. My cd writer also may die soon........
I dont wann buy another one for 3-4 years if I get a new one now !
