Oracle DB Certification

Guys,

I'm planning on doing Oracle DB administrator course for certification.

They are quoting almost me 34k at :S at SQL STAR, Bangalore.

SQL 7500
DBA Fundamentals I - 8250
DBA Fundamentals II - 8250
Performance Tuning - 8250
+ Registration & 10% service Tax.

Do you guys this think its too much?!?!

Let me know if you know of any other better places I can attend?

Does it include certification fees ? AFAIK SQL Star is considered to be amongst the best institutes for certification

Oracle certifications are hell expensive. I hope the exam fees are included.

@AbhijithS -> edited your post ? In response to your "original" question, no I haven't "studied" at SQL Star, neither do I have any certifications opted from there. During my training period in my company, we had faculty from SQL Star coming over to teach us. They were pretty good.

and TBH - Performance tuning is not something which you can do straight off the bat, you will need some experience before starting off with Performance tuning.

Thanks that seems alrite I guess... yeah performance tuning is beyond me right now.. I'm just concentrating on SQL & DBMS fundamentals
