After offering popular games for dirt cheap prices for charity in the Humble Bundle, Origin has added a return policy called "Origin Great Game Guarantee". So now if you purchase a game digitally from Origin store and do not like it after buying, it can be returned for a full refund.

We hope every game you play on Origin will meet this high bar, and we're happy to say that starting today, we can guarantee that we'll make things right if you decide the game you just bought didn’t live up to your expectations.

The new Origin Great Game Guarantee works like this: You may return EA full game downloads (PC or Mac) purchased on Origin for a full refund--within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from when you purchased it, or within the first seven days after the game's release date if you pre-ordered it (whichever of these conditions happens first).

A refund can be requested by simply visiting the order history and clicking “request a refund” link next to your recent purchase and answering a few questions.

However games purchased as part of bundle will need to be returned including the entire bundle. Also, refunds may not be supported for products purchased during special Origin promotions. The promotional details will explicitly state if refunds are unsupported.

Thats a great move and will save gamers from the regret of wasting money on a game they do not like.

I don't think people who will actually sit down for 14 hours to beat a game are so common that it becomes a problem. Besides, I also don't think you can pull that stunt very often before just being refused a refund.
