Original v/s Fake Memory

Hello Friends,

What is Disadvantage of Fake Memory Stick Duo Pro, apart from warranty and price?

Now a days even FAKE Memory Stick Duo Pro also have minimum 1 years warranty.

Whats the cost for 1GB Original and 1GB FAKE?

Please post your experience with FAKE as well as ORIGINAL Memory Stick Duo Pro.

I think he means those cheap memory cards available in most of the shops. I have already had 2 of them give up on me in the last 1 year. Not to mention the frequent data corruption too.
 
I've been using one without probs for around two years, even if one goes corrupt you could buy one more and yet it would cost you as much as a single orignal memory card (atleast in the case of sony memory stick pro duo) :)

Fake memory 'sticks' :P aren't worth it. Had a rsmmc fail in my n70 just a month after purchase. Kingston's doing a lot lately in india, their prices are also very reasonable.

Using Sandisk from now on, 8 months...zero issues :ohyeah:

coming on topic, anyone used YES memory? Friend of mine bought a 2 gig stick recently. They any good?

YES the brand bhai...any good?

^^^^losing data is never good. Thats why I'd pay more than double for a reliable brand. Plus sandisk cards are much faster, who wants to wait especially if you're transferring large files like lotsa MP3's.
 
I recently got a sony memory stick pro duo high speed 1 gig stick for Rs 1350 In nehru place. It gives very fast transfer speeds from pc to cardwriter.

Another brand similar to NCP, not that well known but i find it in most of the shops as its damn cheap
