Orkut Bad settings

My Orkut settings do not include options of safety filter and i can't set Everyone in the fields regarding who can post in my Scrapbook. Also my Email ID is asked when my friends try to send me friend requests. If i try to remove this setting then it either says"BAD! Bad! server no donuts for you" or doesn't update the setting even after the message comes that settings have been updated.
Is this because I am new to Orkut
I also deleted my 1-week old profile and replaced it with a brand-new maybe 4-day old profile but it didn't work.

Same happens with my brother who has made a new Orkut profile 1- week ago
 
Googling for sometime revealed that it is happening with many people but i don't find any offcial news from orkut as such that they are doing this with new account owners:S

any one else who made his/her new account on orkut this mnth?ur inputs are valuable!
 
Hi guys i found the solution

If you are Teen between age of 13 to 17 then you can't change your privacy settings, its a update from Orkut

If you created your account recently and your age is between 13 to 17 your consider as teen and you will be restricted to change your privacy options
by your own and even for teens safety filter is kept on you can't change it

Note: when some one try to add you as friend he /she must know your email id or else they can't add you as friend..

Privacy settings

* Teenage user profiles will not appear in search results within orkut, even by searching their email address, and will not be visible in Google.com web search results.
* Teens do not have the option to share their content with everyone on orkut. They can still share content with individual friends, all friends or friends of friends. The default setting is friends only.
* Teenage users cannot make any profile field information public.

Safety Filter

* The Safety Filter feature is always on for teenage users.
* A teenage user will not be able to access mature content as identified by the Safety Filter.
* If another user is marked as unsafe by the orkut team, then all friend links to teenage users will be removed automatically.

Friend requests and friend suggestions

* To send a friend request to a teenage user, one needs to know the email address of that user.
* If another user is marked as unsafe by the orkut team, he will not be able to send friend requests to a teenage users, even if he knows their email addresses.
* Unsafe users will not be shown as friend suggestions to any orkut user.

Ads

* Teens and parents shouldn't worry with adult ads -- orkut will always display only ads classified as family-safe.
