OTB Iphone 2G v1.1.1 query

Hey..

I just found an box-packed Iphone 2G 8GB lying around here n there..
It has an AT&T sim in it and its locked, firmware v1.1.1.

Now should I just proceed with unlock+jailbreak for 2.1 thru WinPwn or should I first upgrade to v2.1 and then proceed with the unlock..?

Just download 2.1 from Apple and then unlock it with QuickPwn.

edit: Flashing failed by iLiberty+, bricked.

Fixed by booting in recovery mode and restored by iTunes to v2.1

Used QuickPwn to unlock + jailbreak successfully
