Hi,

I am facing problem in viewing HD movies (360, 480.., blu ray) on my pc. When i try to play any HD movie on my pc it plays the movie pausing at every 2-3 frames. I think that the problem is with my graphics card (I am having an old pc).

Will overclocking/modding can provide any solution? Any other solution is also welcome.

PS: I am able to view DVD quality movies properly.

Thanks in advance.. :)

can u tell us which mobo ur having? if ur having a PCI-express slot then u could buy a ATI HD5450 1GB for around 2100rs .. n the problem will be solved.

I will have to open the pc for finding mobo type. But i don't think there will be any sticker because its an old pc.

However, traditional PCI slots are there. Is this ATI HD5450 1GB compatible with all the mobos?

Is there any application which shows one's mobo's type and make?

Aw! I'm sorry man .. but ur mobo supports only AGP graphics cards .. and spending money on buyin one is not worth!!

imo save up some money and try getting a cpu :(

@hayabusa: Anyways thanks for the effort.

Is there any other way i can watch HD movies on my pc ? Or any good free converter from HD to DVD quality ? I tried one of the converters but they are pretty slow in converting the file to DVD or any other type.
