Graphic Cards P4 CPU can damage my GPU ?

i am playing gta 4 on p4 @3.00ghz with GTS250.some of my friend says it damage your processor or other say it damage you GPU .

My question is it create any damage to my graphic card?

if i play game which requirement is p4 will compatible with my graphic card ?????

NO, it wont damage your GPU, there is no possible reason for that happening.

But, your CPU will cause a bottleneck, i.e, your GPU will be way under utilised because of your processor. Consider a CPU upgrade to exploit the full capability of your graphic card.
 
Will the game damage your CPU or GPU? NO.

Will your slow CPU damage your tolerance/will power/ability to be patient: Definitely yes...
