You seem to forget Indians who earn below 12 lakhs do not pay any tax . I cannot imagine low skilled technicians and labourers utilizing facilities in India .
So you agree that they make millions in profit , govts gets a revenue in taxes and licenses which is also contributing to Indians coffers right ?

Why are jumping here and there ? why are we talking about quality of Indians migrating or their lifestyles ? You seem to be confused and then you insist that we keep to the topic ?

Because , unlike earlier Embassies earlier used to have meetings , discuss on how to do business effectively , how to manage local issues etc . These days the clowns call us only for functions like Independence day , republic day and give us chocolates . There is a stark difference in the way the govt used to engage in foreign countries compared to how it happens currently .
The only way Indians and Indian people survive in countries where operating is a real nightmare is just because we have a decent amount of goodwill compared to people from other ethnicity .

A couple of decades back we used to have letters to the editor column on newspapers . People used to write about roads , drainage , electricity etc . The officials used to take notice and get some things done .
Resigning to fate is what you want to be . I would rather try than be a silent spectator .

If everybody pay taxes appropriately, NRIs will have to pay tremendous amount of taxes. If rich are taxed, NRIs will be a big target. Also is tax avoidance on agri-income which is exploited badly. Probably, few of the reasons why India is not progressing, together with corruption.

Again, would like to keep focus on the topic in dicussion to the title of OP's thread, not the opposite of it.
