Graphic Cards Palit x1950 pro super or 8600gt??

Is x1950pro from palit a better buy than 8600gt??

By the time time market is flooded with dx10 games, is 8600gt worth keeping? Also since x1950 pro beats even 8600 gts in most games today, will the performance of 8600gt be gud enuf for coming dx10 games.......also dx10 is a feature in games i guess so the cards which dont support it wud go by dx9 model, give and take some features availablity???

i want to make a decision to buy one of these 2 .... all ur views r welcome
 
Get the X1950 pro...

Its better to play in lower settings, then not to play at all.. Besides Dx 10 games at present show a marginal IQ improvement, and I doubt if a 8600 GT would be able to handle them anyways...
 
No, Palit is a decent brand. I made another post regarding Palit's relation with Gainward (see the zebronics 7600gt thread), you should read it. :)

With regards to X1950Pro vs. 8600GT - With 8600 you get DX10 features but with X1950Pro you will get better performance. At the moment its better to take the X1950 pro because DX10 offers minimal quality improvements and this will remain for another year or two because Xbox 360 and PS3 do not support SM4.0. :)
 
x1950 Pro all the way. Even though 8600 GT is DX 10 capable, I doubt it would be able to handle DX 10 games the way they were meant to be played. Plus, I think DX 9 still has some life left in it. It's going to take a while before DX 10 goes mainstream.
