Its available for 63k. I thoroughly compared it with the PV80. Other than slightly better contrast levels and a better power consumption, there's very little it offers new.

G12 Progressive HD Plasma Display Panel (not sure if its NeoPDP - is it just a marketing gimmick?)
Hardened Gass - will not break if u plan on throwing you wii remote at it.
Contrast Ratio - Dynamic: 2,000,000:1; Native: 30,000:1 (PV80 has Dynamic: 1,000,000:1; Native: 15,000:1)
Natural Vision Filter - AR (is this a difference)

I presume these are the only differences. But i still think its way better than PV80

As long as Panasonic cannot bring in a decent True HD or FHD displays at the range of LCD's, they will never manage to bring in any competition or manage to sell more of these.

well according to reports it has improved brightness ,one of the drawbacks of previous plasma models is that they weren't as bright as lcds so people who have bright rooms went for the lcds and offcourse not all favour a bright tv.
the native contrast ratios are all bogus the pv80 actual ANSI contrast is around 1200:1,the G10 which has NeoPDP panel has ANSI contrast of about 3100:1,still cannot match the 9g kuro.
