Its been long since I've always wanted this phone. Any and every useful help is appreciated.
Thanks.
PS: I will keep this thread alive till I get it in my hands. :p[DOUBLEPOST=1395339846][/DOUBLEPOST]For now the best deal seem to be this: $94.99+$4.99 shipping

Amazon won't ship it directly to India. You would have to take the help of some Shipment forwarding service like ishop international, ppobox or hopshopgo etc. and they would also handle the custom duty clearance task for you. Compare various options and choose the cheaper option available.

P.S. I was purchased mine with ishop international.

Also remember wherever you buy, ensure that that the shipping is done with a tracking number. That is if you are using a shipping forwarder. This is for you to know that the package reached fine to the forwarders facility.
Also ask Ibhejo to list the phone on their website from amazon. The price will be the final on Ibhejo.

Ibhejo overcharges a lot.

I asked them to list a 20$ mouse and they listed it for 5100..it costs 4000 in india.. And they listed it around 10 days after I requested them to..

HOLY SHIT! That is high. I wonder if they are trying to take advantage of the customers.[DOUBLEPOST=1395841249][/DOUBLEPOST]Quick question, what if I request for an item on ibhejo and decided to not buy it because of high charges? Is it like a MUST BUY once a product is requested?

Your landed cost would be easily 7k or more. IMO it's not worth it for a 2+ year old phone. Why not look at some current options available locally? Maybe cross your fingers and buy a 'chinese' mobile. Heck, you wont get warranty/support even on the burst.

7k is fine. I'm not worried about how old the model is. It would be brand new. So i'm fine as long as its new and un-used.
I really dont like chinese phones, the tough aren't as good as i thought they would be. I would like to mention that my bro's A500S physical key dont work that smoothly. I'm more worried about the aftersales service. I think we all know how they are. I'm not bothered about the warranty of the burst coz i would root it. what good is an android if you are not going to root it anyway right? :D

Pantech is a korean company, but i'm guessing the phones are made in china, just like the iphones are. Also, as an example a friend's canvas HD is running flawlessly a year later. You're saying the warranty of the burst doesn't matter, then why should the ASS of a locally bought phone matter either?
I'm leaning towards the gionee and oppo phones, some of their models are exceptional.

If we are to get into this topic then I would say that not all "Made in China" products are bad. A hell lot of them are great. In fact many laptops also have "made in china" tags.

Nearly everything. Build, touch quality etc etc. I've held the Burst for a while and I loved it. But i wont say the same for brands like micromax and xolo esp. Micromax. They have very poor built quality for me. Just a few days ago I went to check the Xolo Q800 because people claimed that its good but the build turned me down. I also liked the Xolo A500S because of its great design and decent build quality for its price but touch issue bothers me. So there are many reasons why I dont want to buy these phones.

The OPPO phones are sexy!

Are you seriously making that statement ? By that theory everything made in China is crap right ? Which makes almost 99.99% phones, may be my phone case, watch belt and everything is bad. The china theory is so so out of place.
Different companies have different quality controls and big companies like Apple, Samsung and such do not just let chinese make phones as they please but dictate everything in the entire process.
Also the odds of a junk chinese phones (ones like MMX rebrands) may have greater failure rates than a better brand well known companies (samsung, lenovo etc).

I'm not sure what in my reply made it seem that i'm against the chinese phones, in fact it's the exact opposite. I was responding to ipwnz's statement that he doesn't like the chinese phones. which is why i said even the iphone is made in china. I haven't used many mmx phones but the canvas hd i have for a while and it's pretty awesome build quality imo. Also, pretty much every samsung android under 20k is utter crap and i would rather buy a chinese phone than one of those.
back to the point, i would repeat that instead of buying a 2-yr old phone which anyway doesn't have warranty, buy a decent phone locally and ignore that it has warranty and ASS. same effect right?
interestingly, i was reading some reviews about htc couple days back and people have had terrible experiences with the service centers. I remember when my blade had a single dead pixel and i sent it back to the UK with a friend. Orange sent him a brand new replacement, no questions asked. They didn't even verify if it even had a dead pixel before replacing it. And this was a 100-quid phone. The reality is warranty in india often ends up useless with the service centers either trying to put the blame on the owner or delay indefinitely. And i'm talking big brands and a whole range of products from appliances to consumer electronics to computing.

In normal day to day conversations, when one refers a phone as "chinese phone", they usually mean non brand cheap junk phones or the rebranded ones sold by MMX and such other companies. So samsung/apple do not even picture here.

Btw OP you should go with the phone that suffices your needs rather than always buying latest and greatest. Many people are compulsive upgraders who always want the latest so you may get such opinions. Asses your need and buy a phone. Not asses a phone and make it fit to you need (and wants).

@op
Why not go with Razr M,you will not get brand new in your budget, but it's way good than Burst in every compression ,even 4.4 is coming for it .

I'm getting two M's- Droid and XT905. Which M are you referring to? Are these two the same? Isn't there no custom back cover? its so ugly. and i hate that "verizon" printed at the front. i hate companies which do stuff like this.
Not worried about the processor and cam but the battery seems better than the Burst's 1650mah.
I want a brand new phone. Don't really want to buy used phone. Personal reasons.

I just checked Amazon. $220 dude. Its way out of my budget. I'd rather get the Burst in this case.
Anyway situation won't change if I'm not able to buy either of them. Both SnS and iBhejo haven't replied back.

Get it from ishopinternational.com they are also offering 50% off on shipping. It Would be cheaper than ibhejo I think.

I think the main problem is the non-shipping taxes levied. Final price would be similar to ibhejo and others.
