It seems that everybody is in the race to produce quad core packing smartphones with the spanking new 1080p displays on them. Add to that Jelly Bean, and you got the standard 5" smartphone template complete. The only differentiating factors seem to be the OS UI customization that the phone packs, and of course the phone design and battery size. It seems that nobody wants to hear of a new phone (or they simply won't care) lest it packs a Snapdragon S4 Pro and a 5" 1080p panel. Well here you go, the Pantech Vega IM-A860.

Thanks to a leaked GL Benchmark, we have confirmed details for the Pantech Vega IM-A860. There goes:
The existence of the phone is further confirmed by the leaked WiFi certification image. The Pantech Vega IM-A860 will also pack LTE, just like the Pantech Burst.
We already know that the Pantech Burst is a pretty good mid range phone, and has been selling well (imports) in India thanks to it's great pricing (which has gone up again). Maybe the Pantech Vega will also share a similar fate. We keep our fingers crossed.

- Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064
- 1.5 GHz quad core Krait CPU
- 2 GB of RAM
- 1080p display – 440 ppi – 5″ display
The existence of the phone is further confirmed by the leaked WiFi certification image. The Pantech Vega IM-A860 will also pack LTE, just like the Pantech Burst.
