People are idiots if they think USA cares a dime about India, Pakistan or France. They are not some sort of global police either. They learnt their lesson during World War 2 that trying to say neutral and sticking to trade does not really work. So they are proactive about protecting their interests and protecting their borders from external threats. It does not matter to them where they need to meddle to do that to keep the trouble where it is. Approve or disapprove of it, that is how they do things. They try to keep trouble where it is or at least outside their own borders. And yes, even all that is nothing because if they really want to use serious force, they have enough nukes to obliterate the entire planet several times over.
People like to say that countries with internal troubles and conflicts should be left alone, but does anybody seriously think that when these kind of trouble makers finish in their own country, they will stop there? The world left Hitler alone the same way for a long time and look at the havoc it brought.
Its like cancer, once you have it somewhere in the body, You don't care where it is and you don't wait till it reaches some vital organ. You try to get rid of it before it spreads through the entire body
LOL
Lets be honest. They think India as a shit hole
Yes, lets be honest and while we are at it, accept that India is indeed a shit hole for all practical purposes and no amount of justifying and debating that some other countries are also shit holes changes the fact that it is still a shit hole.
When something bad happens to an Indian in US, Even if its a run of the mill robbery or something that happened due to one's own negligence, Indians immediately cry racism and what not, but at the end of the day, even without any public outcry, most of the time, all efforts are taken to apprehend the culprits and often are. How many foreign tourists get mugged, raped and/or killed when they come to India? It was a surprisingly huge from what I heard and police refuse to register complaints nor does it reach media (or at least get published). Both white people and black people and tourists in general are targeted in India for various sorts of crimes and other mischief. A tourist who went to file a complaint after getting raped in India was again repeatedly raped by several layers of the police hierarchy and then threatened into leaving the country. For all the bragging about Indians treating our guests like gods, the reality is no where close. For a long time, when I was in Chandigarh, every foreign visitor that came to our office were given safety advisories about India and particularly about Delhi and that was because every other day or two, somebody was getting targeted. What kind of perception does one get about the country when safety advisories have to be given about the national capital?
How many countries have such disgusting treatment of females right from the womb as in India, a country which is supposed to give a lot of respect to females. How may countries have rapes of 6 month old babies and toddlers on a pretty regular basis and still have the culprits escape without serious consequences?
Yes, every country has crime, but the sheer crudity and perversity of the crimes, lack of consequences, political opportunism over them and the worst of all, the disgusting way that people and the leaders try to justify that sort of thing before the world is not easily found anywhere else. To even try to fix something, the first thing that needs to be done is to at least acknowledge that some thing is wrong and our people vehemently refuse the presence of a problem or its seriousness.
Next, look at the extent of dishonesty and the lack of moral backbone. Despite all the bragging about our history, culture and what not about the so called ingrained values, why is that so many well educated Indians and often their parents (who are also educated) get caught shop lifting in US stores or other dishonest stuff so commonly? Same thing in India too. A highly educated couple in India with well paying jobs go to a jewelry shop to purchase gold and then steal some jewelry because an opportunity presented itself while they were there. Then when they get caught, they cover their faces and behave as if they are victims in a tragic story. How many educated american's get caught shop lifting (expect maybe for some homeless people or some poor migrants who do it out of necessity than anything else)
Same thing when it comes to jobs as well. Why is it that so many educated Indians are caught defrauding companies with regard to jobs in US? My sister's company in US does a background check only when they hire Indians. They don't usually do it for people of any other nationalities. Do you think it qualifies as racism or discrimination? It had to be done because Indians were the only ones that have consistently and repeatedly tried to defraud the company. They relaxed the checks and they immediately got 3 Indians pulling the same shit. Our country men are responsible for establishing that sort of stereotype. Their company is now contemplating legal proceedings against such candidates and the HR agencies that sends them.
Then there is the egoistic and self centered behavior as if the entire world should be centered around us and our country.
For instance, Why the heck should anybody care about who Sachin is? He may be a master in a sport (which btw is mostly played only in countries that were slaves to the British), but that does not mean that every body needs to know who he is. Its like excepting every body in the country to know who the Gilli-danda champion of your village is. Even that aside, why do Indians attach so much importance and make so much fuss about him. Its fine if you admire him as a great player of this sport, but there is no need to worship him as some sort of god. He got paid a lot of money to play his part and then he got paid a lot more for playing his part in the advertisements and endorsements. He earns a lot and still whines a lot about paying taxes and expects that he be exempted from taxes. Same thing about idolization of other celebrities and the cheap way people tend to regard with them.
People have to understand that the perception that American's or some other countries have about India is a direct result of the kind of cheap behavior that our countrymen have been regularly portraying to them both online and offline. Nobody but our own countrymen are to blame for convincing though their actions that our country is a shit hole. Our people leave no stone when it comes to display of ego and false prestige or other cheap behavior, but self-respect and respect for others is something that a lot of our countrymen lack.
