I have windows 7 in my netbook and its installed in a single 320gb partition. Now, i want to try windows 8 and want to install that. How can i create another partition without formatting the complete hard disk using any software or from disk management?

@harshit143
Right Click->Computer
Click Manage (opens Computer Management),
Click Disk Management under Storage
Right click your partition and select Shrink Volume, will take some time and then a dialog box will appear where you can enter the amount of new volume.

Thanks! Done :hail::hail:

BTW, will dual booting my netbook (Asus 1015CX) reduce the performance of any of the OS?? I cannot afford a performance decrease because the config is just on the border line for a single OS. I want windows 8 also with preinstalled windows 7.
