I recently took out my 9-10 year old DLP 3D projector from the cabinet, where it had been stored for approximately 3-4 years. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the login password. It’s a 6 digit password with arrow keys labeled as 1, 2, 3 and 4.
There’s no external factory reset switch. After going through the manual, I discovered that pressing the auto key for 3 seconds triggers a Password Recall code that can be shared with the service team to recover the password.
However, the service center is demanding that I replace the motherboard, which costs around ₹13k. I’m not inclined to do that. The projector simply requires a factory reset.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue.
