Patriot box office media players(only for mumbai residents)

Hey guys,

i was looking for a media player and got to know abt patriot media player in our TE only. mediahome.in arranged a IC but that didnot get through i suppose or may take more time.

as i needed some media player urgently...called up a dealer i know and asked him abt this product.

he said he can arrange it if there are 3-5 members not more than that.

so i started this IC so as to know how many of them are interested??

people from mumbai are preferred as in i dont want to have the trouble of shipping and stuff.

the dealer gave me a price quote of 6000/- with wifi dongle.

if we get ard 4 members then we may try bargaing.

IC closes on 18th midnight.

warranty -- the dealer is sayin he cannot give local warranty. the product has to be sent to US for replacement.

since he is not givin local warranty......so u ppl decide carefully and confirm.

ok, just checked one with the lowest cost Rs.6,916.00, so with 15% 1000/- off GEB coupon will cost Rs.5916.00, so almost the same, but big difference is that we have a local seller with local warranty

but if taken from Ebay GEB & if something goes wrong, you send it all the way back to united states of barak obama on your own cost & then wait for said period for repair / replacement etc.

Yeah....i have contacted that dealer...he will let me know the details of warranty in some time....i'll update it..as soon as i get to know

can be arranged i guess if the op do not meet the target & on buyers risk plus shipping charges
 
The one mentioned here also includes the wifi dongle which the one on GEB doesn't. I have experienced that media players may not always be compatible with every wifi dongle, so if you are getting a manufacturer approved one it is always advisable to go for that.
 
@intacto - If no local warranty can u please try to bargain on the prices a lil bit? I mean we are easily 4 ppl here so just try a lil bit of bargaining pls.

i think Rs.5500/- is not a bad deal, provided we 4 or more, then nothing like it.
