PayPal account hacked - $80 in the a/c, £35 sent to someone :(

Guys, I'm in a big problem. My paypal a/c has been hacked.

Somebody sent me $80 and then sent £35 to some european company.

See the screenshot. Disputes were already filed before i could see the account.

I've changed the password and security details now...

Please see the screenshot and guide me what to do! :huh:

Open a dispute for the outgoing payment also asap.

Paypal will be able to see that your account was accessed from a different location from the IP so they should be able to reverse the transaction.

You can also try calling them through Skype.

As varkey suggested, you better call their toll-free no. through Skype, asap.

Sending an email will usually result in generic, sluggish responses.

Alternatively, you can open a dispute and follow up on that.

Open dispute ASAP.

Same thing was happened to my account. Some one hacked my verified account and transfered some $250 to my account, then he transfered the same amount to someone else's account. My account was blocked because of illegal transaction (maybe that was money from hacked Credit card), I had lost some $221 review payments from that account.

After so so long investigation procedure of almost 8 months, I got all 'my' money into my ICICI account linked to paypal, but the account is still blocked and under investigation
