PayPal account limited

PayPal is pestering me to add pan card & purpose of account & something else for verification. It says my account is limited and I won't get money.

If i only want to use this account for buying purposes, do I still need to verify pan card etc? If in case of claim, will I get the refund or not?
 
You need to verify your account before you use it, It's not PayPal it's our own government who wants you to do this.

As for claim/dispute I always got refund but in case PayPal is not able to help you can file charge back with Credit card.
 
Even after verifying my Pan no and email, they are stiil sending me these emails saying my account is limited. this is so annoying. stupid site.

It is not a stupid website, they need all those documentation to function in India and rightly so, otherwise it will lead to a parallel banking system. Just log in to your account and check which criteria is still unfulfilled.

I verified my paypal account few years back and it was not much work, just verify your email, PAN, credit card and Bank account. Everything can be finished within one day if you follow the instructions on the website.

Accounts are limited for multiple reasons. Documents or sudden/suspicious activity. Paypal is a PITA, but the govt adds to it. Buzzz them on Twitter, they helped me very quickly few yrs ago.
 
It's okay. I'm only using it for buying (once till now). I'll leave it as is. At the worst I'll close the account.
