I use it and it's really good. It also has special recharge option and mobile app, which freecharge lacks
 
^ no haven't tried it, but recently faced lots of problem with freecharge, usually the transaction goes hay-way, have you tried recharge-it-now, have recharged couple of times, but their site has many ads :@

This site has no ads on the homepage :)

I hope same is the case in all the pages :)
 
Have been using it to recharge BSNL 3G for the last 3 months and it's been good. The special recharge is the option to be used in this case

sbi maestro debit card+freecharge combination is not working for some reason, other credit cards,net banking is working fine with freecharge :S

Oh that might be the reason freecharge is not working for me. I also used sbi maestro debit card :(

Shifting to paytm now :)

Two kinds of recharges 1) top up for talk time 2) special recharge for tariff, talk time, validity etc

Once I recharged a tata docomo number with special recharge in freecharge, I got top up instead of recharge, lost talk time close to 80/-, since then good bye to

freecharge.. For failed recharges, I got status failure and cash refund to account in 10 minutes.. although initially the status said the recharge was success.
 
Using paytm from past 6 months for both mobile and DTH recharge. sometimes they use to send Coupons on your registered mobile number. i got Dishtv coupon in the month of July from which i saved close to Rs. 150 on my recharge.

Just now tried paytm with sbi maestro, the transaction page crashed :P do post here after trying to recharge on paytm with an SBI maestro debit card.
 
@RS4, yep mate i too had trouble with freecharge+debit card, now i shifted ti net banking, still there are some hiccups :(
 
^^ i am facing transaction problems on all the websites, so i am using other banks cards,netbanking with 100% success rate.
 
WTF !!!

SBI Net Banking is giving me a mobile number registration error when i try to login for payment

This doesnt happen when i buy tickets online and purchase anything else :(
 
^ its because you haven't registered any mobile no, better register your mobile no so that you can use the high security sms feature

But i had given my mobile number when i applied for net banking account

Also it is asking for a email id registration

i have written both details in net banking a/c form

And how come this error appears here only and nowhere else ?

And does that high security sms feature charge extra ?
 
^ its better, an extra protection, whenever you try to perform an online transaction, then you will get a password via sms to the registered mobile, and only after entering the password you will be able to perform the transaction.

When you have your mobile no registered, you will be notified when your SBI profile page is accessed
