Budget 0-20k Pc buying advice needed.

My Friend needs to assemble home pc within a budget of Rs. 20,000/- this will be needed for his cousins studying in 12th Std. and other one is doing Hotel Management. It should be stable atleast for five years.

kindly advice.

It's hard to assemble PC with your budget that will last for 5 year...
And you need to provide more detail like you need whole PC to assemble from LCD to PSU or you have any part..

Asrock h61m-ps2 - 2400
Transcend ddr3 4gb ram - 900
Any local cabinet with PSU - 1300
Asus optical drive - 1000
WD cavier 250 gb - 2600
KB and mouse combo I ball cherry - 770
Aoc 18.5 led - 5500

Total is around 21400...try to buy some of these used from here to maintain budget...

You have mentioned Motherboard of ASROCK why not Gigabyte.

You can for gigabyte starting base model which you can get for 3k...

Try to add one entry level graphics card possible....
You can save money on proccy and hard disk if you get it second hand and invest in graphics card...
Don't spend much on cabinet ...

I read the thread very clearly and he mostly ask for a last long run for 5 years PC so Don't be so panic and take a chill pill. If OP want to buy a good PC for last long for 5yrs or so, Then my suggested PC config is good and he have to SCRATCH his budget a bit more. If OP want to go with current running PC not like baba aadam ke jamaane kaa.:bigok:

Yes i can starch the budget little bit for the sake of future.
I want cabinet alone not with SMPS with minimum cost. Kindly suggest any model, any co. which could be compatible with the gigabyte motherboard GA-B75M-D3H. since i do not want to invest more money on cabinet.

Get Intel Core i3 3220 + Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H + Bijli - Cabinets - Gaming - Zebronics - Always Ahead - Largest Range of Peripherals, remove PSU from it. Or get any iball/zebronics/cooler master entry level cheap Cabinet without PSU.

Rest of the parts : choose as per your requirements from my and kakahi's suggestions.

And get a separate PSU suggested kakahi. Stock PSU mostly are of worst quality, and can impact other components very severely. It is always most important to invest in good PSU.

Even PC built with extreme budget will require upgrade after 3 years for some parts. So do not look for 5 years window.

I assume you are not going to game, so better buy good PSU right now with above suggested parts and after some time even if you wanna play games, you can add GPU, as GA-B75M-D3H has PCIeX16 3.0 slot.

Since you don't want to invest much money on cabinet, Then go with BIJLI cabinet. It can cool your PC for long time running.
