PC Peripherals PC config help needed.

Monitor - Aoc 17 Inch Wide Screen TFT LCD 716 SWa ----> 7500/-
Motherboard - Biostar gf7050-m7 ----> 2200/-
Processor - E2160 ----> 2500/-
Graphics card - Mercury ----> 3200/-
Cabinet - Zebronics Antibiotic ----> 2000/-
SMPS - Power Safe Silver 400W ----> 1000/-
HDD - Hitachi 250 GB SATA ----> 2500/-
Speaker - Zebronics ZEB-SW6500R ----> 1800/-
RAM - Dynet 1GB X 2 ----> 1500/-
Mouse - Zebronics ----> 200/-
Keyboard - From Palika :p ----> 150/-

Total around 25K.

Things I already have but I am rejecting them :-

ASUS P5GZ-MX ----> Wont oc :(
Microtek 2.1 Speaker (self repaired) ----> Sounds like torn off drums :(
Mouse & Keyboard ----> UGLY
Cabinet ----> Xentis ----> Ugly & 220W SMPS.
RAM ----> 512x2 ----> DDR1

Is this config. ok for OVERCLOCKING AND GAMING.

Also if possible plz help me reduce the cost of this rig <20000.
I'll upgrade in about a year.
 
1.CABINET:Get the Bijli instead..

it's better looking & doesn't have any LCD display that go kaput in a months time..

2.RAM: Get a Kingston or atleast a transcend !

3.MOUSE: Logitech(tried & tested!) or Microsoft..

4.HDD: Seagate 250GB !

5.KEYBOARD: Logitech/Pleomax

6.SPEAKERS: Creative M2600 / Logitech R-20 / A-L VS 2421

6.GFX CARD: Mercury ???? model?

Make the above changes and you can save quite a bit when your upgrading the other parts next year..

mercury 8600gt 256 gddr3 3k
psu powersafe 400w gold/CM 460w 1.5k/1.8k
mouse logitech or MS, dunt get zebby mouse...
kbd samsung pleomax 300/-

Bijli is worth is recommending again..
 
Are u sure that biostar mobo will OC? I have tested mercury 7050 and it OCs pretty easily, but only up to 2.6GHz, all u have to do is select fsb1333 and boot.
 
All you'll need is a system monitoring software like EVEREST to note the temperatures!! Or the MSI PC alert that comes with all MSI mobos..

What is the use of getting a cabby solely for its unreliable lcd?

The Bijli is definitely better looking than the Antibiotic..

I hope you've seen both the models in person..

dunno read some where on guyz oc on 610i mobo till 2.8Ghz.

we are actually recommending stuff to improve your config. and you wanna cut down costs by 5k!???
It would be a serious compromise on most of the peripherals..

And see the Zebby Bijli in person and you'll like it..

And if your SO VERY KEEN on the transparent side panel then forget the bijli..the trouble is not worth it !
 
I suppose I would keep my Xentis cabbie for the time beinng and mod it :D. Btw, any chance of using the Asus P5GZ-MX will it oc ?? It was costly at the time I brought it.

n i thought u dismantled bijli n antibiotic n then decided to go fr antibiotic cabbie....
 
I am still confused bout mobob cuz e2160 say 800 Mhz fsb so has the asus mobo so I don't know what will the prob. be. I guess I will have search for oc now ;)

Btw for cabbie I wanna mod my xentis ;) now but I have never modded any cabbie befor so It will be a new experience.
 
guyz my dad extended my budget to 30K and I will be going to NP on Saturday, two things I wanna know :-

1) How to choose PSU ?? (what amount of watt ??)
2) Is there any laptop like keyboard (with low keys)

what exactly do u mean by "laptop like keyboard (with low keys)" ? if u want a THIN kb check out the MS Comfot Curved KB, sell for ~Rs.950/-

The PSU wattage will depend upon ur usage of the PC......
