PC Does not recognize Headphones

Hi

My PC 15-11600K, Asrock B56- pro4 mobo stopped recognizing my headphones. The headphones work fine when connected through monitor or on laptop and mobile phone. I could not find headphones showing up in sections like sound, device manager etc

I also tried connecting them through Mobo panel but they are of no use

was working fine. I installed my GPU today, was this the cause ?

headphones are Cooler Master MH630

Check for the audio devices. If you are using the HDMI cable from GPU to monitor , then most probably all the audio is being routed through the HDMI.

Click on the sound icon and choose your audio devices as Realtek HD audio / Mobo audio.
