@manuvikram007 this is what I suggest --

Intel Core i3 2120 ~6800/-
Intel DH67-BL ~5500/- OR MSi H67MA-E35 ~4900/- [with the MSi motherboard you loose two DIMM's and I think fewer SATA ports than the Intel motherboard]
G.Skill RIPJAWS 4GB x1 1600MHz ~1700/- [add another RAM module down the line for dual-channel advantages]
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB ~5000/- [OR try to get a second hand drive for now from the Member's Market]
Optical drive ~1000/-
AMD HD 7850 2GB ~16000/- [anything below this in the current scenario (full-HD resolution) is not worth it in my view]
Seasonic S12II 520W ~3800/-
Bit Fenix Merc Alpha ~2800/- [from fipkart.com]
Dell IN 2030M ~6500/- [20", LED backlit monitor with DVI-D and VGA connectors] OR Dell ST2220L ~8500/- [22" full-HD, LED baclit monitor with HDMI connector]
LOGITECH K200 combo ~700/-

This exceeds your budget quite clearly but then this is what it comes upto.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!!

@Amitkumar a few things that you got wrong --
  • Western Digital Green Edition drives are not exactly top performers as well as their reliability is under the scanner, instead of going for a 1.5 TB drive which sets him back by ~6900/- OP can add ~500/- quid and get a 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12;
  • the Cooler Master eLite 311 is a poor choice for a gaming RIG, it has a dearth of a front-intake fan, painted interior surfaces and cable routing in eLite series cabinets is a nightmare. The NZXT Gamma is not an option where OP stays;
  • The GX550W has been panned by reviewers across the globe for using old internal circuit design and being highly inefficient at full load;
  • using a wireless keyboard and mouse combo in a gaming PC is idiotic, it induces input lag in controls;
  • Manu is staying in Kerala, it is mentioned below his AVATAR.

Hey Thanks yaar..

It goes way beyond my budget if i get 7850...Is there cheaper alternative...how about 6850 for time being..as i found deals for 9-10k.

As far as i know there is no distributor in kerala for seasonic..so must be no place to clam waranty as well if anything goes wrong..how reliable they are??

Whats ur input on Intel mobo u rec me...how good they are i heard bad reviews from distributors here..they dont rec it anymore as the failure rate is soo high now a days(wat they say)..they rec me Asus H61 MLX mobo costs some 2.5k..am confused..in that matter..

If you get the HD 6850 for now, you are not going to be able to play most upcoming titles on full-HD with sufficient eye-candy. I advise that if you can split the purchase into two parts, get the most pressing components now and later add a powerful GPU; especially if you can hold of a purchase till the nVidia GTX 660 Ti [non-Ti] releases you are looking at a price war that will get the HD 78** series at more competitive rates.

In that case you will have to look at Corsair GS 500W OR equivalent SMPS, even I am not very sure on the after sales of Seasonic units in various parts of India. It is well and good in Bombay with Prime ABGB and the big names, have heard Bangalore is also great but Seasonic has fewer offices in other metros and this plays against it.

The Intel DH67-BL has been purchased by many fellow members on the forum and they are all satisfied [as far as I am aware]. There were issues with the motherboard's AUDIO connectors in the rear panel but that was solved by updating the requisite drivers. Also, I think the overall service and support end for Intel Original products should be dependable in your area [relatively to MSi, ASUS and GIGABYTE].

The Intel H61 motherboard is a very basic chipset which lacks USB 3.0 support and fewer SATA III ports are available to you. Don't think about buying it for a gaming RIG, this is my opinion and I thought ASUS was a company to be avoided thanks to Rashi handling its after sales service end.

Hope this helped, Cheerio!!

there are reasons that you should not buy a basic mobo.....as most imp. you wont be able to add another graphics card.
Go with a good one which supports sli feature and buy gtx 560ti or if budget matters more then gtx 560 and afterwards buy a new 1 and you can have both of them in sli.
Else you pc will become an outdated one more early and you'll not be able to fulfil the requirements of the games and softwares you'll be using.
In case of smps move to gs600 or tx 650.
In cabinet there's also an option of NZXT GAMMA ~2400/-
Hope this helps!!!

I think i will get the rest of the config u mentioned along with a used 6850 now and later at Aug i will grab a nvidia 660
How about case...?

That is fine, if you can arrange the funds and are okay with the multiple card changes.

Just make sure before you buy the next card the GTX 660 is out in force [this will be around October if card releases in August], else you will end up paying a lot more for the same OR its AMD competitor.

And as it is not capable of OC-ing
Do i need a aftermarket cooler for the CPU?

No need of that, in-case the temperatures seem to be on the higher side reseat the heat-sink and fan, reapply TIM [after cleaning the old stuff] and you should hopefully see better results.
