I am facing multiple issues with a system. It freezes in the BIOS and would not work thereafter. The screen freezes and the CPU fan keeps spinning. If i fully powerdown and reboot the system, it just would not boot although the CPU fan spins. Motherboard and CPU temperature are well within the limits and there is no BSOD or sudden restart. I tested the RAM in another system and it is fine. Below are the specs and the freezing screens.

1. AMD AM2 4600+ 89W
2. ASUS M2N68AM-SE2 - BIOS is latest version
3. 1GB Zion DDR2 RAM
4. Antec TPII 550W

Please help me solve this issue.

Did you updated your bios recently, it seems either bios or motherboard or the motherboard battery problem

Hi satyanjoy :) , thanks for the cabinet

the person who sold me the motherboard had the BIOS flashed to the latest version. It may be because of that. I have tried using mutliple batteries, SMPS and RAM but the issue persists. I am unable to flash the BIOS to older version because the system freezes at bootup itself.

Anyone knows where we can get pre-programmed BIOS chip for this motherboard?
