while working on solid works ( a high intensity graphic applicaion) my pc suddenly switched off.

after having tried several times i managed to get these beeps by only connecting the ram, graphic card and processor on2 the mobo:

A) 1 long 3 short - without ram
B) 1 long 3 short and 1 long - without graphic card
C) 1 long 3 short and 1 long - by connecting the above 3(ram, video card and proessor)

in case of B and C the last 1 long beep is after a long of delay(say 7-10 secs) and the beeps are not repeated they are heard only once.

kindly help me!!!!!!!!!!
 
Hw long is it since u changed the CMOS battery??? :)

Change it and give a shot;

Use another stick of DDR2 RAM and check;

Definitely not the gfx card;
 
well if it was d cmos battery at least the pc would start so i would rule this case out , i tried inserting my rams in all the 4 slots available on the mobo.... 4 all possible cases ...., but will still try tht do u hv any more suggessions?
 
i tried resetting d bios removing the jumpers, removed all connections and connected it back again even the processor...... so tried everthing i could
 
Did u try using another stick of RAM??

I smell the fault of the motherboard;

Wait, u said its a Zebby 640W PSU; hw old is that thing?? That can also be the culprit in some cases;
