Hey guys, its nice to meet y'all. I wanted to build a pc workstation for 2d animation, video editing and content creation in general. My budget is 75-85k. So I chose these pc parts along with essential peripherals. I wanted to know if these components are compatible so I can avoid wasting money and bottleneck. Your answers and opinions are essential

So what do you think? I am curious to learn in-depth about computers, so feel free to explain in detail if you like. Do let me know if I can plan different parts to save extra money, or I wasted my money on somethings

Why 5600G instead of 5600x?
If looking for used route you can save a lot.
Gpu will almost 10-14k less with warranty and so can be other parts.
I am actually looking for fresh pc components, so I am not planning to buy used parts. Also I checked 5600x instead and the cost increased to 88k. Anyway to lower the budget without downgrading too much?
i would recommend 12400 and a 3060ti minimum in 50k budget. You can upgrade to a i7 or i9 in the future. Creative SW work really well with intel CPUs.
I planned by your suggestion and went for this build
Any corrections?

Get this for the monitor at 10k, good panel (has 100% sRGB), good response times & supports g-sync (I have its older model which is 3.5 years old now):

27" at 1080p is said to suffer from low ppi issues, you may or may not find it annoying. I don't expect any monitor at this price range to be calibrated in terms of colour. So a 100% sRGB panel should be fine.

This rig is 70k for R5 5600 + B550M Pro VDH WiFi + 3060 12GB + 32GB RAM:

With 4k for the accessories you want, final price will be close to 84-85k but you get a better rig with future upgradability for those extra 3k you spend.

The i5 12400F & R5 5600 are similar in performance & are the best CPUs for this price. With R5 5600, mobo costs are cheaper & you get better quality mobo as well. Like the mobo I linked can potentially handle an R9 5950X with some UV with ease whereas a 10k B660 mobo will overheat VRMs for even a 125W CPU (check Hardware Unboxed VRM testings). For reference i5 14600K draws close to 180W & R9 5950X also draws something similar. In future, if you feel like you need more performance for cheap, buy a used 5950X, upgrade cooler to AG620 & maybe upgrade RAM to 64GB, will be a solid rig without spending too much.

For both productivity & gaming in this performance class & budget, DDR5 RAM is a waste of money. My personal rig is i5 12400 + 3070 with 32GB DDR4 RAM, for reference, built for gaming & WFH.

Check reviews & other videos by Hardware Unboxed & Gamers Nexus for research purposes if you don't trust me on anything I said above. IMO invest some time in researching.

In that case as others have suggested try intel based builds and instead of 3060 get 4060 if buying new gpu....it's same ballpark and much better. 3060 for 28k is not worth the price now.

Thank you bro, this build seems like a time and money saver. Btw, you have 'skilled' tag in your account name, so I trust your opinion as well.

I've heard that RTX 3060 with 12gb vram is better that RTX 4060 with 8gb vram. So I went for it.

For productivity, 3060 12GB VRAM will be better because of VRAM, heck for gamers I recommend it over 4060, which is like 10% faster but at the cost of lower VRAM. My GPU recommendations are like 6600, 3060 12GB, 6750XT, nothing else between them.

In general Nvidia performs better than AMD for productivity tasks.

Yeah, I won't be playing much games, it's for productivity, college works, youtube content creation and 2d animation with negligible amount of gaming

By the way I also wanted to know whether this monitor tv can be used with modern pc. It's a really old Sony Bravia tv. We bought it 4-5 years ago it play ps2 in it lol. It is a 21 inch display and it still works

Hey @OMEGA44-XT can I use the same build and just replace 6750xt instead of 3060 as I'm not looking to build for gaming under 80k which seems will just fit one if there no bottlenecks.

Yes, definitely. With 6750XT, can even try for 1440p monitor, like Acer XV272U V3, under 20k. I play at 1440p in most games with my 3070.

Thanks for the reply, I already have a 3 year old vg240y so will enjoy 1080p for now and If I can stretch my budget till 80k then planning to accommodate 6750XT. Also as my goal is only to play games and productivity so in case I'm not able to stretch my budget so would you still recommend to get a 3060 for 25k budget mark?. Asking because the original post requirement had mentioned editing/rendering etc
