Yesterday i was chatting with my friend on Dota 2 and my PC shutdown out of the blue and went into a boot loop
it restarts randomly, sometimes before POST,sometimes at the BIOS Splash screen, sometimes in the BIOS,sometimes after the OS boots(Windows,Ubuntu, ubuntu live ) at best it never stays on for more than 3 minutes.
CPU temps are normal ranging from 30-40C,so i doubt it is because of overheating
I have tried the following troubleshooting techniques
the PC is ~3 years old more or less.

- booted without any of the drives
- reset CMOS using its jumper
