PC required:Suggest Best?!!!

Hi,
NEED to buy a new PC(budget 40k INR)..
processor- Intel I'series or AMD?which is better?
Please suggest the best DVD writer/combo/blu ray,Motherboard,Monitor etc...
My main interests include gaming and animation..So please suggest the High end Graphics card that could support 3d Max/MAYA/etc and latest PC games ..also it should be able to play PS2 games at decent speeds(currently using PCSX2 emulator)...

After that if you have any specific doubts then everyone is here to help you.
IMHO it is better to say which suits best for your requirement AMD or Intel ?
 
I checked the part Med End Gaming Rig (Budget 41k) in the guide..

i am focusing mainly on RAM,processor and the Graphics card ..

want to know if there's a major performance difference between Phenom II and Athlon II..In case of an i3 I heard that it is not much better than a core 2 duo and going for it is not much useful..some said to go for an i5 and not i3..

i currently have the graphics card-nvidia geforce 9500.(512 mb graphics)how is Zotac GTX460 768MB GDDR5 (mentioned in the guide) compared to it?good\very good\or not ?
