Windows PC restarts on playing games!

recently my pc is behaving super wired. pc getting restarted suddenly when i start pubg pc. on other games like rdr2 and other heavy games, when starting any game and after 10 mins pc suddenly gets restarted.
i have tried multiple troubleshooting steps like reinstalling graphic driver, rollback to previous gpu driver, updating windows. checking for faulty ram and gpu but no luck. seems everything is in place and nothing seems the problem.
it frequently happens on pubg pc most of the time.
my specs:
i3 9100f
16gb trident rgb ram ddr4
rx6600 8gb (brand new gpu)
650 watts power supply corsair.
1tb ssd + 256bg ssd + 1tb hdd

What are your CPU/GPU temps while gaming?

Record the exact time and upon next boot-up check windows event logs for the events occurred during that time frame..

Not getting any usefull log bcos it only shows sudden shutdown/powerloss.
Any suggestions steps for how to get the logs in details. I am more power linux user than windows

I have swapped the spare psu and then tried, it worked properly and then I swapped back my current one and then tried again, it worked but then next day again I am facing the issue. I am totally confused!

How strange behaviour of the power supply that create confusion. If it's a faulty then it should be restarting consistently but in my case it's not.

When you tried the spare PSU, did you try gaming? Or did the pc just idle? Try gaming for a 2-3 days on the spare PSU and see if it works properly.
Also what model is the spare PSU?

Highly likely it's a bad PSU.
Just swap it for a few days and observe.

You don't need to play a game just run a stress test like AIDA64 both on CPU and GPU at the same time.

yes offcourse i did gaming. in idle nothing happens and also in some games like forza 4 ultra settings and other games it just works fine and no sudden reboots occured.

Seems like a clear case of bad PSU. Such issues are really hard to reproduce sometimes and hard to explain for RMA. All the best!

Had a similar issue years back on my gaming rig. PSU was the culprit. I would suggest again connecting your spare PSU and running PUBG and RDR2 for at least 2-3 days and playing it for a an hour long session each time you sit to game to see if the issue kicks in as well with the spare PSU running.

Also, do mention the brand and wattage of the spare PSU you are using.
