PC Peripherals Pc shutdown

Facing a weird prob with my pc,while starting the pc a loud pop sound is heard and the pc shuts down.Well this had occurred earlier but it solved by itself and the pc was working fine till now(prob had occurred 2 months back).Today all of a sudden my hard drive went for a toss and after removing the fautly hard drive,started my pc again with remaining hard drive and the same problem of popping sound occurred again and the pc shutdown.

if that is a long beep sound and then the PC shuts down then reseat the RAM and then try to boot if the same problem persists then remove all the connectors and reconnect it back and then try to boot and check looks like the problem might be with connectivity .....
